The Edwards Arts Council is presenting Tom Rush on Sunday, May 18 at 7 PM at the Edwards Opera House.  Tom Rush's impact on the American music scene has been profound.  He helped shape the folk revival in the '60s and the renaissance of the '80s and '90s, his music having left its stamp on generations of  artists. The Edwards Arts Council is presenting the Hollowbodies Reunion Concert and Make-A-Wish Foundation Benefit on Saturday, May 31 at 7 PM at the Edwards Opera House.  This Potsdam/Canton area band from "back in the day" will reunite with a charitable purpose.  For complete details on this show, check out the Edwards Arts Council website.

The Edwards Arts Council presents the Twin Magicians on Saturday, August 2 at 7 PM at the Edwards Opera House.  Dazzling audiences since 1973, the Jackman Twins' combination of magic and humor appeals to young and old alike. The Edwards Arts Council presents its annual "End of the Summer Blast" on Saturday, August 30 at 7 PM at the Edwards Opera House.  The same bands as last year's End of the Summer Blast:  Northbound and Delia with Gwen Tracy.  More information available at the Edwards Arts Council website.

The Edwards Arts Council presents Wood's Tea Company on Saturday, September 6 at 7 PM at the Edwards Opera House.  Wood’s Tea Company is an acoustic group that performs fiery Celtic tunes, bluegrass, sea shanties, and American folk songs with ease and skill. The Edwards Arts Council will sponsor a Melodrama Weekend presented by the Grasse River Players on Friday and Saturday, September 19 and 20 at the Edwards Opera House.  Come cheer for the hero, boo and hiss at the villain and sigh for our heroine.  This audience participation evening of comedy is suitable for the entire family.  More information available at the Edwards Arts Council website.

The Edwards Arts Council presents Snarkey Follies 3, A Very Snarkey Christmas on Saturday, December 13 at the Edwards Opera House.  Another hilarious and occasionally naughty production from Connie Meng.  Music, comedy, sketches and silliness in a holiday theme.  Some material in this show is not suitable for children, no one under age 12 will be admitted. Regularly Scheduled Events
 

Scrabble© games and continuous knitting sessions ... every Monday evening from 6:30-8:00 at the Edwards Hepburn Library.  The public is welcome to play Scrabble© or join in the knitting group to learn or to just knit or crochet with someone.

Story hour for all ages ... every Wednesday morning from 10:00-11:00 at the Edwards Hepburn Library.  Games, crafts, stories ... the public is welcome to attend.

The HERD Community Network, Inc. gets its name from the acronym formed by the towns within its service area: Hermon, Edwards, Russell and DeKalb. Formed in 1996, we serve as an on-line promoter for our towns.
